craftiness...

While there is always a lot of THIS kind of craftiness that goes on in my house....

...I did decide to paint an older toy chest I had for my kids. My husband and I purchased it years ago from an unfinished wood store and it had many spots and dings and stains. 
So...I decided it cover it with one of my very favorite colors! 

And now I am so happy to look at it, and not so embarassed by it!  

...new stuff...

This spring season is also blooming some new ideas in my head. Here are a few new items I've added to my shops. What do you think?

This is a pillow cover that snaps closed and has ruffles along both sides.  

And here are some fabric birthday countdown chains! They are so cute!

And finally, a new type of pouch for me...it's a pull through wristlet/clutch.  Perfect for a water bottle on a day trip or your daily essentials!

candy argyle kids - NEW ETSY SHOP!

That's right...I've decided to open ANOTHER Etsy shop!  I thought my old shop was too crammed. I felt like I offered too big of a variety of items. So in hopes that this will make it easier for customers to shop, I've transferred all my kid and baby items to my new shop!

sweet tweets boutique

Here I am standing next to my display at a boutique I did this weekend. I didn't have the greatest of luck, but I figure it is good to get my name out there.  People can touch and feel and look at my stuff.  

I am doing another boutique in two weeks, and this one is supposed to be pretty good.  Good location, and lots of traffic.

Here are a few green treasures I've found on Etsy and thought I'd share just in time for March!
